1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Clausewatch (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The Service
Clausewatch ingests contract documents you upload, extracts structured terms using third-party AI models, and surfaces renewal dates, obligations, and risk signals for tracking purposes. The Service does not provide legal advice, and extracted data may contain errors — see our sub-processors list for the vendors involved in processing.
3. Customer data
You retain ownership of the documents and data you upload. You grant Clausewatch a license to process that data solely to provide and improve the Service, subject to our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, a Data Processing Agreement.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to upload content you do not have the right to share, attempt to circumvent access controls, or use the Service in a way that violates applicable law.
5. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." Extracted terms and risk signals are generated by automated processes and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always confirm obligations against the original source document before acting on them.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clausewatch is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to account owners.
